Unofficial estimates
CardGrader helps you photograph, straighten, measure, and inspect trading cards. All centering ratios, corner and edge scores, and comparisons with grading companies' published standards are unofficial estimates based on photos and on markings you make. They are not a professional grade, appraisal, authentication, or guarantee of any result from any grading company.
Provisional comparisons
Where completed measurements and inspections are available, CardGrader conservatively caps each vendor centering comparison at the lower of your corner and edge scores across the scanned sides. This is an app-defined provisional rule, not a grading company's formula. Surface condition and unscanned sides remain unassessed and may lower a professional grade.
No affiliation
CardGrader is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), Beckett Grading Services (BGS), CGC Cards, TAG Grading, TCGplayer, PriceCharting, eBay, Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures, or GAME FREAK. All names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the standards, cards, or sites being referred to.
Advertisements and optional purchases
CardGrader is free with advertisements. An optional lifetime Remove Ads non-consumable purchase removes banner and interstitial advertisements. Prices and purchase confirmation are provided by Apple; eligible purchases can be restored in Settings. Advertising availability does not limit scanning or grading tools. Apple's purchase and refund terms apply.
Prices and third-party data
Card details and market prices come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. They are provided for information only and are not financial, investment, insurance, or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell. Don't rely on them alone when buying, selling, or insuring cards.
Your content
You own your photos and data. You're responsible for keeping your own backups. You agree to use only photos you have the right to use.
As-is; limitation of liability
CardGrader is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of money, cards, or data, arising from use of or reliance on the app, its estimates, or third-party data.
Changes
These terms may be updated; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
